~Just like our homes and other buildings are built by a builder, God built all things. Video 1 Video 2 Video 3

Psa. 19 (NKJV) "1The heavens declare the glory of God; And the firmament shows His handiwork."

John 1 (NKJV) "1In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2He was in the beginning with God. 3All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made... 14And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth."

Heb. 3 (NKJV) "4For every house is built by someone, but He who built all things is God."

~The New Testament goes further and tells us that mankind knows there is a God by the things He has made and that His invisible attributes are manifest through the things He has made, but man exchanged the truth of God for a lie, choosing to worship the creature rather than the Creator so God gave man over to uncleanness.

Rom. 1 (NKJV) "18For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, 19because what may be known of God is manifest in them, for God has shown it to them. 20For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse, 21because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened. 22Professing to be wise, they became fools, 23and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like corruptible man—and birds and four-footed animals and creeping things. 24Therefore God also gave them up to uncleanness, in the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their bodies among themselves, 25who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.

~The Bible is the Word of God, not the word of men.

2 Tim. 3 (NKJV) "16All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, 17that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work."

1 Thess. 2 (NKJV) "13For this reason we also thank God without ceasing, because when you received the word of God which you heard from us, you welcomed it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which also effectively works in you who believe.

2 Pet. 1 (NKJV) "20knowing this first, that no prophecy of Scripture is of any private interpretation, 21for prophecy never came by the will of man, but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit."

~The Apostle Paul states he has preached the whole counsel of God.

Heb. 1 (NKJV) "1God, who at various times and in various ways spoke in time past to the fathers by the prophets, 2has in these last days spoken to us by His Son, whom He has appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the worlds;"

~The Word of God is Truth.

Psa. 119 (NKJV) "160The entirety of Your word is truth, And every one of Your righteous judgments endures forever."

John 17 (NKJV) "17Sanctify them by Your truth. Your word is truth."

Titus 1 (NKJV) "2in hope of eternal life which God, who cannot lie, promised before time began‚"

~The Apostle Paul preached the whole counsel of God and was not ashamed of the Gospel which is the power of God unto salvation. However, he knew that men speaking perverse things would draw disciples away from the church that Jesus Christ established in Jerusalem on Pentecost of 33 A.D..

Rom. 1 (NKJV) "16For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek. 17For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, “The just shall live by faith.”

Acts 20 (NKJV) "26Therefore I testify to you this day that I am innocent of the blood of all men. 27For I have not shunned to declare to you the whole counsel of God. 28Therefore take heed to yourselves and to all the flock, among which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to shepherd the church of God which He purchased with His own blood. 29For I know this, that after my departure savage wolves will come in among you, not sparing the flock. 30Also from among yourselves men will rise up, speaking perverse things, to draw away the disciples after themselves."

~All nations heard the Gospel in the first century. The Gospel of Christ has been preached in all the world. (Did the Chinese know God?)

Rom. 10 (NKJV) "17Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word about Christ. 18But I ask: Did they not hear? Of course they did:
“Their voice has gone out into all the earth,
their words to the ends of the world.”

Col. 1 (NKJV) "5the faith and love that spring from the hope stored up for you in heaven and about which you have already heard in the true message of the gospel 6that has come to you. ~God preserved His Word for mankind in the form of the Bible.

1 Pet. 1 (NKJV) "22Since you have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit in sincere love of the brethren, love one another fervently with a pure heart, 23having been born again, not of corruptible seed but incorruptible, through the word of God which lives and abides forever, 24because
“All flesh is as grass,
And all the glory of man as the flower of the grass.
The grass withers,
And its flower falls away,
25But the word of the LORD endures forever.”
Now this is the word which by the gospel was preached to you."

Matt. 24 (NKJV) "35Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away.

2 John 1 (NKJV) "2because of the truth which abides in us and will be with us forever:"

2 Pet. 1 (NKJV) "12For this reason I will not be negligent to remind you always of these things, though you know and are established in the present truth. 13Yes, I think it is right, as long as I am in this tent, to stir you up by reminding you, 14knowing that shortly I must put off my tent, just as our Lord Jesus Christ showed me. 15Moreover I will be careful to ensure that you always have a reminder of these things after my decease."

The Bible contains (66 Books). There are 39 Books in the Old Testament and 27 Books in the New Testament. The Divisions of the Old Testament Books are by Law, History, Poetry and Prophets. The Divisions of the New Testament Books are Biographies, History, Epistles and Prophecy. What is the percentage of the Old Testament found in the New Testament? The Bible is a demanding Book. The Bible was inspired by God and is the inerrant Word of God. How can the Bible be inspired by God?

2 Sam. 23 (NKJV) "2“The Spirit of the LORD spoke by me, And His word was on my tongue."

John 6 (NKJV) "45It is written in the prophets, ‘And they shall all be taught by God.’ Therefore everyone who has heard and learned from the Father comes to Me.

2 Pet. 1 (NKJV) "20knowing this first‚ that no prophecy of Scripture is of any private interpretation‚ 21for prophecy never came by the will of man‚ but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit."

1 Cor. 2 (NKJV) "13These things we also speak, not in words which man’s wisdom teaches but which the Holy Spirit teaches, comparing spiritual things with spiritual."

2 Tim. 3 (NKJV) "16All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, 17that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work."

~God advises mankind to rightly divide the Word of Truth written in the Bible. (See the Lesson: Two Laws)

2 Tim. 2 (NKJV) "15Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth."

~The Bible is inspired by God and is complete. This means that the Bible is whole, finished. All of God's Word is contained therein and there is no need for extra revelation by men (such as "the Pope" or "prophets" today). In the Bible‚ God commands that no one 'add to' or 'take away' from the Words He has inspired to be written for mankind. This tells us that man is NOT authorized to change the Word of God.

Deut. 4 (NKJV) 2You shall not add to the word which I command you, nor take from it, that you may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you.

Prov. 30 (NKJV) 5Every word of God is pure; He is a shield to those who put their trust in Him. 6Do not add to His words, Lest He rebuke you, and you be found a liar.

Jer. 26 (NKJV) 2Thus says the LORD: "Stand in the court of the LORD's house, and speak to all the cities of Judah, which come to worship in the LORD's house, all the words that I command you to speak to them. Do not diminish a word".

1 Cor. 4 (NKJV) 6Now these things, brethren, I have figuratively transferred to myself and Apollos for your sakes, that you may learn in us not to think beyond what is written, that none of you may be puffed up on behalf of one against the other.

Gal. 1 (NKJV) 6I marvel that you are turning away so soon from Him who called you in the grace of Christ, to a different gospel, 7which is not another; but there are some who trouble you and want to pervert the gospel of Christ. 8But even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed. 9As we have said before, so now I say again, if anyone preaches any other gospel to you than what you have received, let him be accursed.

Gal. 3 (NKJV) 15Brethren, I speak in the manner of men: Though it is only a man's covenant, yet if it is confirmed, no one annuls or adds to it. 16Now to Abraham and his Seed were the promises made. He does not say, "And to seeds," as of many, but as of one, "And to your Seed," who is Christ. 17And this I say, that the law, which was four hundred and thirty years later, cannot annul the covenant that was confirmed before by God in Christ, that it should make the promise of no effect.

2 Pet. 1 (NKJV) 19And so we have the prophetic word confirmed, which you do well to heed as a light that shines in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts; 20knowing this first, that no prophecy of Scripture is of any private interpretation, 21for prophecy never came by the will of man, but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit.

2 John 1 (NKJV) 8Look to yourselves, that we do not lose those things we worked for, but that we may receive a full reward. 9Whoever transgresses and does not abide in the doctrine of Christ does not have God. He who abides in the doctrine of Christ has both the Father and the Son. 10If anyone comes to you and does not bring this doctrine, do not receive him into your house nor greet him; 11for he who greets him shares in his evil deeds.

Rev. 22 (NKJV) 18For I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: If anyone adds to these things, God will add to him the plagues that are written in this book; 19and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part from the Book of Life, from the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

~God's command that no one 'add to' or 'take away' from His Word written in the Bible has profound implications on religions which claim to worship God, but have attempted to add to the Word of God with their own man-written books (in addition to the Bible) that define how to worship God. Jesus submitted to the Will of The Father and we must also.

Luke 22 (NKJV) "41And He was withdrawn from them about a stone’s throw, and He knelt down and prayed, 42saying, “Father, if it is Your will, take this cup away from Me; nevertheless not My will, but Yours, be done.”

~There are religions (some who claim that they believe the Bible), who have added their own books such as the Baptist Manual (Baptists), the Methodist Discipline (Methodists), the Pentecostal Holiness Church Discipline (Pentecostal), the Catholic Catechisms (Catholicism), the Presbyterian Book of Confessions (Presbyterian), Nazarene Manual (Church of the Nazarene), the Book of Mormon, Doctrine and Covenants and Pearl of Great Price (Mormon - Church of Latter Day Saints), New World Translation, Awake, Watchtower (Jehovah's Witnesses), the Kabbalah and the Talmud (Jewish New Age or Mysticism, Myth), the Koran (Islam), Square and Compass, Morals and Dogma, The Builders, Kabbalah (Freemasonry) and many others‚ etc. God says that Scripture is inspired by the Holy Spirit and cannot be broken (John 10:35) or changed as many try to do. If men add their own man-inspired books, that does not change the Word of God. Neither does "the Pope" change the Word of God with his "bulls", etc. For, although the Pope claims to speak for God, that is impossible since the Bible says not to add to or take away from what is written.

~There are those who claim that the Bible has contradictions (Video) ~or~ is corrupt, but is that true? Are we to believe that The Creator of the world and everything in it, our God who is Omniscient (all knowing - Video)‚ Omnipotent (all powerful - Video) Omnipresent (everywhere - Video) cannot sustain His Word from corruption? This is not to say that there are not minor translation errors of uninspired men in various translations which is due to the fallibility of man, not God. These do not keep a person from being able to (understand) the Word of God. Minor mistakes that man has made does not affect the Word of God (original message in the original language). The major changes that man has attempted to make in translations such as "The New World Translation" do not affect the Word of God either.

Rom. 10 (NKJV) "2For I bear them witness that they have a zeal for God, but not according to knowledge. 3For they being ignorant of God’s righteousness, and seeking to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted to the righteousness of God."

~Is doctrine important? God says it is.

Acts 17 (NKJV) "11These were more fair-minded than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness, and searched the Scriptures daily to find out whether these things were so."

2 Tim. 4 (NKJV) "2Preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and teaching. 3For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; 4and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables."

Titus 1 (NKJV) "9holding fast the faithful word as he has been taught, that he may be able, by sound doctrine, both to exhort and convict those who contradict."
